The brake system was completely gone through and it has 4-Wheel Disc Brakes with new calipers, rotors, and stainless brake lines. They added an Aluminum Intake, Edelbrock Carb, new Alternator, new starter, new power steering pump, new radiator, and new ignition system. This 1988 Jeep Grand Wagoneer was purchased new from Manhattan Jeep Eagle Inc. of New York and later moved to Chicago, Illinois with its original owner, reportedly before it was gifted to an assistant in 2017. The engine is an AMC 360 V8 Jasper engine that was rebuilt. He used all of the best parts for this build which we will try to detail all of them in the following description. The transmission is the reliable 727 Automatic that shifts nice and it is mated to the NP261 Transfer Case. It spent its life in Georgia and South Carolina before going to Maryland where it was selectively restored and done very nicely. What you see is an accurate representation of the vehicle. The engine was replaced with the highly sought after AMC 401 V8 that was mildly built and we were told it had roller rockers and mild cam and all of the best parts when it was rebuilt.
