Is this just a 1991 rerelease of Satan's first film in 1894? This is an experimental film, and I've never been especially fond of films that fall into this genre. Was this review helpful? So often creation myths feel so abstracted, epic, cleaned-up or romanticized; to see it enacted in this film through bodies in such stark and often brutal ways is devastating. The film contains no dialogue and mimics the style of aged black-and-white films. Outsider art ("art").
