But I can say that I walk the streets of Auburn for an hour each day/night and have never felt unsafe. Look at the recent riot that took place.I agree with you Memphis but consider when MANY ethnic groups favor Auburn it becomes in pure numbers and demand a very wanted suburb. We went to school together! I would definitely not recommend this suburb as it is dangerous, dirty and racist.

There’s a good reason why. Problem is immigrants bring some aspects of there culture from overseas this includes daily life and how they do business sure it's not for everyone but hey it's how they perceive things should be and they do not need to be threatened or looked down upon by anyone it does take time for people to understand the Australian way and sooner or later it will happen. I had a car crash on Auburn rd near auburn Aldi not long ago there is a pedestrian crossing my car approached the give way sign on the left hand side there is a tree covering my view I can’t see the cars coming. Police now fear it lead to a “tit-for-tat” bikie war.
I also find that the people here are not rude, they are simply misunderstood. Auburn also has a Library swimming pools,gyms and a big police station so you can feel safe.
The food from restaurants are cheap and tasty, especially the Middle Eastern food.

Bad elements are being priced out of the area, as new central developments are rising, and the area is slowly cleaning it's image up.
